“PPDS”, the house hold name of Thanjavur is a hundred years “legacy” of
trust, quality, and customer service dating back to 1910, when
Punniamoorthi Pillai started a traditional grocery shop in Ayyankadai
Street, Thanjavur. The Shop earned its reputation over the decades for
the highest standards of quality when the country was passing through
the dark days of colonial rule.
